The SDI and ERDI Open Water Scuba Instructor Course is designed to certify current Divemasters and Assistant Instructors as both SDI and ERDI Instructors. This course is divided into three sections; an SDI instructor development course (IDC), an instructor evaluation test, then followed by a ERDI instructor development course.
The SDI – ERDI course prepares the student for the following:
Minimum age 18 and certified diver for a minimum of 6 months.
Proof of 100 logged dives completed in a number of different environments with various depths.
Be certified as SDI Divemaster, SDI Assistant Instructor, or equivalent.
SID Instructor Course is available only also. Please contact PFDI for details.
Provide proof of current CPR, first aid, and 02 provider.
If not current in CPR, first aid, and/or O2 provider then these can be included with the course.
