The ERD Instructor Development Course prepares and teaches candidates to conduct ERD Tender, ERD I, ERD II and ERD Supervisor Courses under the guidance of an ERD Instructor Trainer. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of teaching public safety diving in a standardized manner from an internationally recognized organization.
The ERDI PUBLIC SAFETY DIVING Instructor course prepares the student for the following:
Teaching public safety diving.
Risk-Benefit analysis.
Assembling and training an operational dive team.
Anatomy of a public safety diving accident.
Provide proof of current CPR, first aid, and 02 provider.
If not current in CPR, first aid, and/or O2 provider then these can be included with the course.
Must be a Public Safety Diver with 100 logged dives.
