This first-level Emergency Response Diving course is designed to give the certified open-water diver, or open-water certified public safety diver, the fundamental skills needed to safely function as part of an OSHA and NFPA-compliant public safety dive team in both the diver and tender roles.
- Students will learn basic PSD scene assessment, search and recovery techniques, evidence preservation and recovery, basic rigging techniques, and self and team rescue.
- This course offers the PSD to include FFM and Dry Suit Ops certification saving both time and money. (*Option requires an additional day of training on August 17 and additional cost.)
- Class includes classroom/ pool instruction and course material.
- Instructors are certified Police and Fire instructors and trainers.
- Additional courses are available upon request.
